New Arrival! This is a beautiful 1940 Ford Pickup hot rod that turns heads, and is worthy of any car show and yet you can get in and drive as far as your heart desires!

This truck has a gorgeous all steel body that is absolutely straight with no damage and fits very nicely. The hood has added louvers and wears original style chrome trim. It also has original style door handles, deluxebadging, and mirrorswhile the custom tubular chrome bumpers and dual exhaust are far from it and we can'tget enough of it! The Red paint really stands out on this truck, it's polished to a very smooth, glossy finish and the period correct Indian Motorcycle door graphics really tie the theme together.(Graphics are removable) It has crystal clear headlights with integrated turn signals and a single fog lamp above the bumper and given this is a ""Deluxe"" model it has two rear tail lights while only one was standard back in 1940. Riding on 15in Chromed steel wheels wrapped in wide Whitewall Radial tires with matching chrome lugnuts and valve stems.
Looking inside the cab the black interior with white inserts pairs beautifully with the red body color. A factory ford deluxe steering wheel frames a factory set of black face gauges which are set in the stock chrome bezel which has been highly polished. The trucks automatic transmission is shifted by a Locar floor shifter which sits just right! It has been updated with an American Auto Wire wiring system and fuse block. The dash controls are clearly marked, and the pin striping on the glove box door is a nice touch
Under the hood is a Vortec 350c.i. V8 with dual quads making over 400 horsepower. It features a nostalgic finned dual air cleaner with matching valve covers, Edelbrock carbs and Intake along with ceramic coated headers! Dressed up with some chrome, it's a nice looking motor. It has a polished alternator and polished drive pulleys. The big aluminum radiator is backed by an electric fan to keep it cool!

The truck bed has a beautifullyfitted wood bed floorwith polished stainless slats and hardware throughout. The steel bed walls themselves are straight and show no signs of wear. In fact the paint is just as glossy as the rest of the truck!

Underneath we have a rock solid frame and floors, a dual master cylinder is tucked along the frame rail supplying power assist to the front disc brakes and rear drums. The fuel tank has been replaced with a custom aluminum tank and relocated under the bed. Dual stainless steel one-off exhaust system is routed up through the running boards and along the bedsides and sounds amazing! In case you ever want more the system also features lower dumps withblock off plates. Looking up at the motor it is clean with a Powermaster high torque starter. The 700R4 overdrive automatic leads back to the 9in rear end.

Included with the sale is an original owners manual, binder full of receipts, and a dust cover.
