This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air has undergone a full restoration and
features an eye-catching paint combination. The Candy Apple Red
Metallic contrasts perfectly with the secondary Black Pearl paint.
Set against the bright chrome bumpers and polished wheels, this
street rod is guaranteed to turn heads wherever it goes. The rest
of the brightwork and emblems shine just as nicely, while the
glass, light lenses, and tailpipes are all in excellent condition.
A lowered suspension provides the finishing touch, giving this
classic Chevy the perfect stance for the street or the show
field.
Inside, the cabin is fully customized and beautifully finished. Tan
leather Cadillac power seats anchor the interior, complemented by
matching custom door panels, a center console with a Lokar floor
shifter, and clean tan carpets and headliner. A tilt steering
column with an aftermarket wheel sits ahead of a stock-style
dashboard layout fitted with Dolphin gauges. Additional Dolphin
gauges run across the front of the dash, which features a polished
aluminum insert stretching across its center. The rear seat is in
great condition, and inside the glove box, you'll find an auxiliary
outlet for charging items like your phone. The trunk area has also
been customized and carpeted, making it clean, functional, and
ready for your cargo.
Under the hood, the engine bay is clean and detailed with plenty of
red accents surrounding a powerful 427 cubic-inch big block. The
engine is equipped with an Edelbrock intake, Holley Double Pumper
4-barrel carburetor, and a Be Cool aluminum radiator with electric
fans. Power is sent through a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission
to a durable 12-bolt rear axle. The factory-style suspension has
been lowered front and rear and includes rear air shocks. Stopping
power comes from front power disc brakes and rear power drum
brakes. At all four corners sit 17-inch Boyd Coddington wheels
wrapped in Nitto tires. For the classic muscle car rumble,
Sanderson long-tube headers feed a dual exhaust system with an
X-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers.
