This long 1978 Chevrolet C30 3+3 Dually Restomod is up for sale for
anyone who doesn't mind standing out from the crowd. It features
full custom Brown paint with a satin finish that gives this big
Chevy a bold, unmistakable presence. The chrome front and rear
bumpers still shine bright, and the wheels follow suit with plenty
of bling. Up front, the grille remains in good condition, while the
tailgate and bright trim all around the rest of the body continues
to show nicely. The stance already looks right, but the truck is
equipped with a full air bag suspension setup, so you can dial in
the ride height to your exact taste. If custom trucks are your
thing, this one checks all the boxes.
The custom work continues inside the cabin. The Saddle Tan interior
is in very good condition, featuring door panels with suede inserts
along with front and rear bench seats that look great. A Billet
Specialities steering wheel with a suede rim pairs with a polished
billet steering column, while the carpet and headliner remain clean
and presentable. A mini center console houses auxiliary controls
and cup holders. The dashboard itself is in good shape and features
a fully digital AutoMeter gauge display in the cluster. In the
center of the dashboard sits a Sony touchscreen radio that controls
multiple speakers throughout the cabin. Vintage Air climate
controls are also installed to keep the interior comfortable. Out
back, the bed has been modified for suspension travel and currently
houses the aluminum fuel cell mounted against the cab.
Under the hood, things look a little different due to the missing
inner fenders, which were intentionally removed to allow proper air
bag suspension travel. Power comes from a 454 cubic-inch V8
equipped with a Weiand intake, Holley Sniper EFI system, and
aluminum radiator. The engine is paired with a 700R4 4-speed
automatic transmission, sending power to a Dana 60 rear axle. The
suspension setup includes front air bags with Heim steering joints,
while the rear runs air bags with an adjustable 4-link setup and
shocks. Large 22-inch aluminum wheels sit at all four corners
wrapped in low-profile 265/35R tires. Hydroboost front power disc
brakes and rear power drum brakes handle stopping duties, while
headers and a single Flowmaster exhaust give the truck its custom
sound.
