Here's a sharp-looking 1972 Buick Riviera Boat Tail finished in a
true custom Burgundy Maroon Metallic and Cream Beige paint scheme,
separated by a striking orange pinstripe. The color combination
works beautifully and gives this classic Riviera a bold custom
presence. Sitting on 18-inch chrome wheels with a just-right
stance, this Buick has the look of a serious cruiser. Brightwork
has been deleted for a cleaner appearance, there's no chrome trim
here, and even the bumpers are painted to match the body. The body
lines are straight, the front and rear ends present nicely, and the
dual exhaust tips exit just right. A sunroof adds extra light
inside the cabin to enjoy the nice days. With plenty of power under
the hood, this big-body Riviera was built for effortless
cruising.
Inside, the Cream Beige interior features split front bench seating
with no rips or tears in either the front or rear seats. The door
panels are in good condition with matching Cream Beige upholstery,
woodgrain trim, and a brown lower section that complements the
carpeting. The carpet is also in good shape and matches the color
of the dashboard, which presents nicely. A custom Grant steering
wheel adds a sporty touch while sitting in front of the stock-style
gauge cluster. Additional SunPro gauges are mounted under the
dashboard to keep an eye on engine vitals. For entertainment, an
Alpine head unit controls aftermarket door speakers, a Kicker
amplifier, two Kicker subwoofers mounted in the trunk, and a
Pioneer 12-disc CD changer, plenty of sound for your cruising
playlist.
Under the hood sits a strong 455 cubic-inch V8 equipped with a
Performance Products Stage 1 intake, Brawler 4-barrel carburetor,
Kennie Bell valve covers, and a chrome Edelbrock air cleaner
housing. The engine is paired with a TH400 three-speed automatic
transmission that sends power to a durable 12-bolt rear axle.
Stock-style suspension handles the ride, while front power disc
brakes and rear power drum brakes provide dependable stopping
power. Long-tube headers feeding dual exhaust and Flowmaster
mufflers give this Riviera the deep tone it deserves.
