The classic combination of Metallic Blue and White makes this 1952
Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Hardtop an eye-catching cruiser with
timeless appeal. Frenched headlights pair nicely with the tri-bar
headlights and aftermarket grille, giving the front end a custom
look. All of the brightwork, including the front and rear chrome
bumpers, shines nicely. Chrome Cragar wheels fit right in with the
rest of the polished trim.
Custom touches continue with pinstriping on the hood and roof, an
Impala hood ornament, and Blue Dot taillights that enhance the
vintage custom vibe of this Bel Air. The body is straight, panel
gaps are even, and the headlights and taillights are clean and
clear, helping the car present very well from every angle.
Inside, the interior looks fantastic. Cream and blue pinstriped
seats and matching door panels create a sharp contrast that ties
perfectly with the exterior color scheme. Matching blue paint
carries across the dashboard, trim, steering wheel, and steering
column for a cohesive appearance. The carpet and headliner are both
in good condition. A set of Classic Instruments gauges is clean,
easy to read, and fits the custom theme nicely. Comfort upgrades
include a Vintage Air system and a retro-style AM/FM radio. The
floor shifter sits within easy reach, the rear seats look
excellent, and the trunk also has a custom look to match the rest
of the interior.
Under the hood, this Chevy presents well and is powered by a 350
cubic-inch V8 equipped with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor.
Supporting upgrades include a serpentine belt drive system,
aluminum radiator, custom air cleaner housing, and chrome Chevy
valve covers. Power is sent through a TH400 automatic transmission
and back to a 10-bolt rear axle.
The suspension has also been upgraded for improved drivability. Up
front is a Mustang II-style suspension featuring tubular A-arms,
coil springs, a sway bar, and rack and pinion steering. In the
rear, leaf springs, air shocks, and lowering blocks help achieve
the right stance. At all four corners are 15-inch chrome Cragar
wheels wrapped in 205/75R15 tires. Braking is handled by front
power disc brakes. Exhaust duties are managed by shorty headers
feeding into dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers.
