Chevrolet Corvette, finished in iconic Solid Red over a matching
Red interior, representing the final and most refined year of the
legendary solid-axle C1 generation.
Power comes from the highly desirable and rare (RF) 360-horsepower
Numbers Matching Fuel Injected V8, This is equipped with the
correct 360HP Rochester fuel injection unit #7017360, serial number
2669, properly fitted and authentic to the car. The 4-speed manual
transmission is paired to Posi traction rear axle and delivers the
kind of engaging, driver-focused experience that made the 360HP
fuelie one of the most respected performance cars of its era.
Attention to detail throughout the restoration is evident, Under
the hood uses correct AC Delco and Delco Remy components (ex.
Starter, Distributor, Generator, Fuel Filters, Harrison Fuelie
Radiator), all properly refinished and correct for the vehicle.
From the ignition system to supporting engine hardware, the
authenticity and correctness of the components reflect a thoughtful
and accurate restoration.
Inside the Interior, the carpet, upholstery and door panels were
replaced along with the dash pad. All the gauges are clean with
clear lenses and it has the correct 6500 redline tachometer. All
the knobs, handles, armrests look great. Correct lockout shifter
with original knob, and a new bezel. It has seat belts and original
style mats as well.
The trunk compartment has not been overlooked! The underside of the
trunk lid, inside the jambs, and the trunk pan have all been
properly refinished. The trunk mat, divider, latch mechanism, and
weatherstrip all look to be replaced. Accompanied with the spare
tire is also a car cover!
This Corvette underwent a comprehensive restoration in 1998 and has
traveled approximately 6,167 miles since completion, it has always
been stored in a climate controlled facility and properly
maintained. Documentation regarding the engine rebuild remains with
the vehicle, along with its original owners manuals, window sticker
recreation, and hard top carrier cart!
Beautifully presented, properly optioned, and featuring its correct
