This custom 1957 Chevrolet 3100 recently underwent a full custom build with no expense spared, and is finished in Tropical Turquoise with Imperial Ivory accents. Oak bed, chrome grille, chrome front and rear bumpers, Oak plank bed and Custom tailgate latches. A Best Pickup and Best in Class Show Winner. Powered by a GM Performance Parts ZZ4 350 V8 crate engine, producing 400 horsepower. Vortec heads, forged steel crankshaft, powdered metal connecting rods, and forged 9.75 to 1 pistons. Hydraulic roller cam, GM Aluminum intake manifold and factory Vortec heads. Chrome valve covers and open-element air cleaner. GM Flexplate and starter, Sanderson headers and Sonic Muffler custom dual exhaust. Aluminum radiator (painted to match) and electric fan. Street Fighter Turbo 350 automatic transmission by TCI with a 2500 stall torque converter. Power is delivered to the Currie Custom 9-inch Ford 3.70 rear end with a Mark Williams driveshaft. Total Cost Involved (TCI) powder-coated chassis with mandrel-bent chassis rails, independent front suspension, tubular A-arms with coilovers, power rack and pinion steering, and four-wheel power disc brakes. A new custom Brothers gas tank was relocated beneath the truck bed. Rewired with a new American Autowire harness. Front anti-sway bar and dropped spindles complete the front suspension. Rolls on 17-inch American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels and 225/60r17 front and 255/60r17 rear Falken performance radial tires. Runs smoothly on 91-92 octane fuel.
The interior features a custom full-leather design by Andrew's Upholstery in white with turquoise accents on the bench seat with coordinating door panels. Gray carpet and floor mats.
