This 1941 Chevrolet Pickup Patina Restomod wears blue paint with
red scrapes that give it a genuine work-truck vibe. The look is
perfectly complemented by very clean red wheels with beauty rings
and moon hub caps. Up front, the chrome bumper and what used to be
a clean grille still present well, while LED headlights and front
marker lights add modern visibility. The rear bumper shows its age,
but it is mounted to a sturdy frame. The side steps may look a
little sketchy, yet they are solidly attached to the fenders and
ready to do their job. Out back, the truck bed features a beautiful
wooden plank setup that adds a nice contrast to the patina
exterior. What looks like an old farm truck is actually a solid
restomod hiding in plain sight.
Inside, the story changes completely. The cabin features two newer
bucket seats separated by a custom center console with built-in cup
holders. A custom steering wheel sits on a tilt column ahead of a
Dakota gauge cluster, while Vintage Air controls manage the climate
settings. The red carpet and headliner are both in good condition,
and much of the interior, including the door panels and dashboard,
is painted blue to match the exterior. Functional spotlights
mounted on both sides of the truck can be controlled from inside
the cab. This interior truly feels like night and day compared to
the rugged exterior.
Under the hood, the engine bay is clean and well-presented. A
fuel-injected 350 cubic-inch Ramjet V8 provides the power, kept
cool by an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. The Ramjet is
paired with a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission that sends
power to the factory rear end. Up front, a custom suspension setup
includes control arms and coilovers. The rear suspension uses a
rigid axle with coilovers and a two-link frame tie setup.
Fifteen-inch red wheels with beauty rings and moon hub caps sit at
all four corners, wrapped in 205/75R15 front and 225/75R15 rear
tires. Power disc brakes at both ends provide confident stopping,
while shorty headers feed into a dual exhaust system with
aftermarket mufflers.
