Supercharged 302 V8 with a 4spd manual transmission in beautiful pearl blue with black interior. 1966 Ford Mustang coupe. that was purchased by the family in Bozman for their daughter in Highschool about 20yrs ago. She decided it wasn’t the car for her and so it sat in storage and occasionally driven for the past 20 yrs. I drained the fuel, did an engine cylinder prep, tune-up, oil change with Lucas zinc additive, radiator fluid and drained and installed new gear oil for the supercharger before firing it up. It fired up immediately.
This is an original “T” code 1966 Mustang. So, it came off the assembly line with a 6cyl engine. We don’t have much history on the work performed but looking at the block codes shows it’s a 302V8 from 1974. The B&M Forced Induction system is coupled with a 600 CFM Edelbrock carb and headers. Take a look at the undercarriage and you can see the transmission looks like it’s new or was recently rebuilt with minimal mileage and no leaks. The rear differential was replaced with a Ford 8” and new leaf springs that still have a portion of the stickers on them. Heavy duty springs up front, shock tower bracing and upgraded to 5-lug all the way around.
It has a Mallory electronic ignition system with Accel upgraded coil, chrome trim components including oil pan and sounds really good with the dual exhaust. We have new BFG staggered tires coming and installed next week on the Cragar SS chrome wheels. New hood springs are also arriving for the fiberglass cowl induction hood. This one is ready to go with the black interior in excellent condition and everything functioning as it should.
