Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T Convertible, customized by Droptop Challenger in Florida, a shop authorized by Dodge to perform convertible conversions available through the Dodge dealer network. The conversion - which involves cutting off the roof and stiffening the chassis - isn't cheap, coming in at $25k. But the result is a professionally-built convertible with a power-operated canvas top.

Finished in Torred with a black top and custom two-tone red and black interior, this Challenger has been under present enthusiast ownership since 2013. Clean CarFax with no accidents. Excellent condition inside and out, consistent with a garage-kept 50k-mile example. Five-spoke 20-inch chrome wheels are wearing BF Goodrich tires. The convertible top was replaced two years ago and is in like new condition (the rear window is glass, and heated).

Interior presents nicely, finished in black with red inserts. Excellent original dash and steering wheel. Updated touch screen Pioneer head unit with aux, bluetooth, HD radio, sat, etc. Power top and windows work properly, a/c blows cold, and everything is working as it should. No warning lights aside from a pesky TPMS light (tires are fine).

Under the hood is a 5.7 liter "Hemi" V8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. Runs and drives great with no known service needs; a new battery was installed just last year. Most of the drop tops were SRT8 or Hellcat variants due to the high cost of the conversion; it's rare to see the more budget-friendly R/T configured like this.
