This 2005 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 is an extremely nice, very low
mile, rust free 2 Owner Suburban that spent its life in the Pacific
NW. This has the desirable 8.1L engine and the person we purchased
it from told us that this particular vehicle started its life as a
Fire Chief's truck. The body is super clean and straight. The
Victory Red paint appears to all original and is excellent! All of
of the chrome and trim is original and also is in excellent shape.
The underside is also extra clean and we found no rust issues with
this vehicle.
The interior is original and in beautiful condition. The seats,
headliner, door panels, dash, and dash bezel are original and
excellent. This vehicle has the rubber floor mat that is also
original and still in excellent shape. The headlights, taillights,
brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work.
This vehicle has tilt wheel and working cruise control. It has
working power windows and power locks along with working power
mirrors. The horn and windshield wipers work. This Suburban has
front and rear heat and AC which are also working. The interior
really is in beautiful condition.
Mechanically this truck is top notch and it runs and drives
wonderful. The engine is the original 8.1L 496 V8 that runs strong
and smooth with no issues or red flags. It is totally stock. It has
the 4L80E Automatic transmission that shifts great. It is mated to
the np246 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. The rear
axle is the 10.5 AAM with 3.73 gears and a limited slip. The front
axle is the IFS with 3.73 gears. This Suburban has a leveling kit
installed which gives it the perfect stance. It is sitting on a
nice set of American Racing Wheels with newer General Grabber All
terrain tires size 285/75/16.
