This custom 1970 Chevrolet C10 pickup is powered by a 383ci stroker
V-8 engine built by White Racing Engines producing 500hp paired
with a TCI-built Turbo 350 automatic transmission and Gear Vendors
overdrive. Power is delivered through an Eaton Positraction rear
end with 3.73 Richmond gears and Moser axles. The truck features
remote-operated three-inch exhaust cutouts and a March Front Runner
system with a custom air cleaner and upgraded dress-up components.
The chassis was rebuilt using Air Ride Technologies components and
Strong Arms providing full air-ride suspension. Braking is handled
by Wilwood six-piston power disc brakes with a hydro-boost brake
system and an E-Stopp emergency brake. The exterior is finished in
Boyd Coddington Red Paint RS914 (DuPont Spectra Master) and
features all-new chrome trim including a 1971-72 grille. Additional
exterior details include custom headlights with integrated turn
signals, a fuel fill concealed in the left rear clearance light and
a master battery disconnect located ahead of the right rear tire.
The interior features Ultraleather upholstery with a matching
headliner, power windows, new glass, a chrome tilt steering column,
Dolphin gauges, a custom steering wheel, Eddie Motorsports billet
hood hinges, and Lokar gas and brake pedals. The truck rides on
Billet Specialties wheels measuring 20x8 in front and 22x11 in the
rear wrapped in Toyo Proxes tires.
