This 1966 Jaguar 3.8S is powered by a dual overhead cam 3.8-liter
inline-six engine equipped with dual SU carburetors, rebuilt with a
0.020-inch overbore, new 9:1 pistons, new cams, new bearings, new
valves, and a ported and polished cylinder head, with a
comprehensive engine rebuild. The original drivetrain has been
retained and fully rebuilt, including the four-speed manual
transmission, which was rebuilt and fitted with a new clutch, along
with a rebuilt electric overdrive unit and a resealed rear
differential. The power rack-and-pinion steering system was
thoroughly reconditioned, and the car is equipped with rebuilt
four-wheel power disc brakes. The interior features all-new
Connolly leather upholstery with the original wood dashboard and
trim revarnished and all instruments rebuilt and recalibrated,
complemented by a premium stereo system. The exterior is finished
in factory-correct Opalescent Maroon paint with a Silver Metallic
basecoat, accented by exceptional chrome trim, chrome knock-off
wheels and new Dunlop radial tires. The complete restoration and
mechanical rebuild were performed by Faithful Automotive Services
in Huntington, New York, and documented by a 50-plus-page written
narrative with receipts, with total mechanical rebuild costs. From
