This custom 1973 De Tomaso Pantera is powered by a PPC-built
replacement 351 Cleveland V-8 engine featuring a Boss 351 intake,
Crane camshaft, Holley Pro-Jection throttle-body injection and De
Tomaso valve covers. It is paired with a ZF five-speed manual
transmission and rear-wheel drive. The car is equipped with a
Euro-spec GTS exhaust system. Suspension upgrades include
adjustable Hyperco coilovers. Braking is handled by Wilwood

vehicle reengineered by Pantera Performance Center with
professionally widened steel bodywork. The body features
hand-fabricated steel panels with dramatically flared wheel arches,
custom front splitter, rear wing, side vents and GT5-style
graphics. It was repainted in Ferrari Fly Yellow with a slick
finish. The interior includes Recaro cloth bucket seats with
Simpson belts, a black leather dash and door trim, power windows,
power mirrors and air conditioning. A full set of dealer-installed
Veglia Borletti ancillary gauges is fitted. An overhead Panasonic
stereo and lighting system is integrated into the headliner. This
car was featured on the cover of the Fall 1995 issue of Pantera
International magazine, which is included with the sale, along with
an accompanying article and photos documenting the build.
