Cruisin Classics is pleased to present to you this cool time
capsule from 1991 - a Pontiac Sunbird LE convertible with only
18,285 actual miles! The low mileage on this Pontiac is confirmed
not just by the title and clean CarFax, but also by the incredibly
well-kept condition of the car itself. This Sunbird comes to us
today with it's original factory White paint still in very good
driver condition with only minor imperfections and not a speck of
rust. The white convertible top is in equally good condition -
crisp and white - with the only demerit being a cloudy rear plastic
window. The car is encircled by a black molding with a bright
accent strip and additional black elements like rocker molding,
window trim, door handles, and dual side mirrors add to the look.
Both the headlight and taillight lenses are crystal clear and in
very good condition. A rear decklid wing-style spoiler with third
brake light adds to the sporty look of this Sunbird, as does the
"PONTIAC" lettering banner at the top of the windshield. This
drop-top sits atop a set of Pontiac aluminum alloy wheels all
wrapped in Mastercraft Stratus AS tires. A peek underneath reveals
a clean undercarriage and a single exhaust.
Lift the hood to find a bone-stock engine bay with a 3.1 liter
fuel-injected V-6 at the center. The V-6 is mated up to a 3-speed
automatic transmission with front wheel drive. At 140hp from
factory, this Sunbird has plenty of pep in it's step for a fun
driving experience Other highlights under the hood include factory
A/C and power steering. Stopping power comes courtesy of power
front disc and rear drum brakes.
Swing open the drivers door and the courtesy lights come on to
illuminate an original factory grey interior. The door panels are a
blend of cloth and plastic and they feature power locks, power
windows, a drivers mirror toggle, and integrated seat belts. The
front bucket and rear bench seats are dressed in original grey
cloth fabric that is still in excellent condition with no tears or
stains. Between the front buckets is a center console with an
armrest/storage box, emergency brake, shifter, ashtray, Delco
cassette player (untested), and a storage slot. Ahead of the driver
is an OEM steering wheel with a working horn on a tilt column that
offers a stalk with cruise control. The wheel frames a gauge
cluster that includes gas, temp, battery, oil pressure, a 100mph
speedometer, and a 7K tachometer. At the upper left of the gauge
area are switches for the lights and to the right are controls for
the multi-speed intermittent wipers. In the center of the dash is a
factory AM/FM Delco radio that powers up, but does not yield any
sound, and HVAC controls that offer nice cold A/C and hot heat with
a strong fan. Ahead of the front passenger is a glovebox with a
working courtesy light. The floors are still covered in factory
grey carpet that's kept looking nice with a set of grey carpeted GM
floormats. Overhead, above the rear-view mirror, is a switch to
operate the power convertible top (which works just as it should).
Around back in the trunk is black carpet, a nice-fitting grey vinyl
boot cover for the top, a service manual, and an electrical
diagnosis supplement.
If you're on the hunt for a fun summertime convertible with plenty
of amenities that won't break the bank, then you're going to want
to take a serious look at this Pontiac Sunbird! This car has less
than 20K actual miles, cold A/C, slick paint, a power top, a
comfortable interior, and a whole host of power features! Don't
miss this opportunity to get behind the wheel of a cool '90's car
at a truly reasonable price - give our friendly staff a call
