1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Indy 500 Sport Convertible Pace Car (code Z11)
Rare true Z11, 396 BB, four speed convertible. One of only a “couple hundred produced”. In 57 years how many got ruined, rusted away, wrecked, stolen, shipped overseas, parted out ect. There are literally only a handful of this rare beast left. The Camaro was even voted 1969 car of the year. This one is the super rare 1969 Indianapolis 500 Pace car. That race was won by the great Mario Andretti. Ask anyone what is their favorite Chevy muscle car is. The answer is always the same - the iconic 69 Camaro. And who doesn’t love the RS Camaro Hideaway headlights? This Camaros flaps work great! These “big block, four speed” Indy 500 Pace cars NEVER come up for sale. Here’s your one chance to own a piece of American automotive history.
