1965 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE A-CODE, 289 CI, GT TRIBUTE, 4 SPEED!
This is one very sharp looking Mustang Convertible in its factory
color, Poppy Red, code 3. The body is clean and straight down both
sides. The paint is smooth and has a very glossy finish. All of the
chrome and stainless trim have been polished or replaced with new.
It has newer weather stripping and window seals. The glass is in
good shape. Everything looks great! The black power convertible top
is like new and it really stands out against the Poppy Red
exterior. It has a black convertible top boot to match the black
interior. This pony sits on a set of factory style steel wheels
with a set of Double Redline radial tires. The black Pony interior
is exceptionally nice. The color really "pops" with the Poppy Red
exterior. The carpet, upholstery and door panels are in great
shape. The dash area is very clean. The dash bezels and knobs are
original and in good condition. In between the bucket seats there
is a factory console with a factory four speed shifter coming out
of it. It features a factory 3-spoke wood steering wheel and a
working factory AM radio. It has front and rear seatbelts. It is
very impressive how nice everything is. The engine compartment is
detailed with its 289 ci/225 hp V-8 engine, also known as an
A-code. It has a 4-barrel intake and Holley carburetor, factory
exhaust manifolds, stock valve covers and chrome air cleaner.
Overall it is proper and tidy. The trunk compartment is all clean
metal. It is painted the same as the exterior. It features a trunk
mat, jack and spare tire and newer weather stripping. The
undercarriage is very clean, it is painted in a nice Oxide finish
like the factory did it. The front end components have been
replaced. The bottom of the motor is clean as well as the 4 speed
manual transmission. It features a 2.80:1 rear end gear ratio,
newer gas tank and sending unit. The E-brake assembly is complete
and working. This Mustang Convertible is a lot of fun to drive and
is also a real attention getter!! *Please contact us for the most
