This particular build was commissioned for a high-end client here in Utah, and started w/ a 1994 Land Rover Defender 110 4-Door Crew Cab donor, that was in excellent condition to start with, and 100% rust-free. It then underwent a no-expense spared body-off restoration, full nut & bolt, using all brand-new high-quality parts & components. The body was finished in Bursting Blue, using high-quality Spies Hecker paint and implementing a new multi-layer system, including aluminum primer, as well as base-coat & clear-coat. Exterior features & upgrades include: KBX nose upgrade, PUMA classic doors upgrade, Safety Devices D110 roll cage, Safety Devices roof-rack w/ ladder, metal PUMA hood w/ stainless-steel fixings, Bigfoot front bumper, Terrafirma NAS rear step-bumper, Fire & Ice step-up bars, diamond-plate exterior package, WARN ZEON 10-S remote-controlled winch, Angel Eyes 007 LED headlight & taillight package, LED light bar on top of cage up front, LED reverse lights on top of cage in the rear, swing-away spare wheel carrier, satin black high-grade billet aluminum push-button door handles and fuel filler cap, steering guard, and much more. The original frame was industrially cleaned (internally & externally), shot blasted, epoxy coated, and then completely painted. All of the suspension was upgraded w/ high performance shocks, as well as heavy-duty anti-roll bars on the front & rear. This awesome truck rolls on black 18” KAHN 1983 alloy wheels, wrapped w/ BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A K02 tires (LT265/65/R18). She has a perfect stance and looks absolutely amazing. You can walk around this truck a hundred times and you will never find a bad angle.
When you open the driver’s door, you will find gorgeous handmade light-gray Italian leather seats w/ a custom hand-stitched pattern, including 2nd row bench seat and 3rd row benches in the back (front & back both heated). Other interior features include: door panels & dash top in matching hand-stitched leather, custom center console in leather w/ cupholders & vintage shifters, instrument cluster & hand brake cover in matching leather, Alcantara headliner & sun visors, Momo 15” leather steering wheel, satin black high-grade billet aluminum interior package, new privacy glass all around, power windows, new custom air-conditioning system w/ rear AC extension, remote locks w/ alarm system & custom original Land Rover remotes, Pioneer Double-DIN media system w/ touch screen (Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth & reverse camera), Morel high-end speaker system (amplifier, sub-woofer, high & low tone speakers), full sound & heat proofing package (bulkhead, doors, tunnel & feet base), and full premium carpeting throughout. This luxurious interior is not only beautiful, but it is super comfortable and highly functional in every way.
Now, let’s get to the heart of this beast, shall we? Pop open the hood, and you will find a new 6.2 LSA Supercharged V8 motor (560hp), linked to a 6-speed automatic transmission, which feeds power to the Quaife ATB limited-slip differentials on the front & rear. Other upgrades include: heavy-duty Quaife limited-slip LT230 transfer case w/ oil sump, heavy-duty half-shafts, CV joints & drive flanges. New Adwest power steering was installed along w/ all new steering components w/ improved steering geometry, and stopping power comes from an AP Racing big-brake upgrade featuring 364mm vented & grooved discs w/ 6-pot calipers up front. A custom stainless-steel exhaust system runs underneath and sounds amazing. She fires up instantly, settling into a nice smooth idle, and runs, drives & performs beautifully in every way. This gorgeous Defender is an absolute blast to drive and has loads of power & torque! It will also get more attention than you have ever had in your life, as anywhere that you decide to go there will be folks gathered around snapping photos on their smartphones.
