This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro SS is powered by a matching-numbers
402ci L34 V-8 engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission
and Positraction rear axle. The engine was resealed and refinished
during a comprehensive refurbishment completed between 2019 and
2021 and fitted with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel-injection
system, replacement intake and exhaust manifolds, radiator, wiring
harness, fuel-system components, belts, hoses and ignition parts.
The fuel tank was upgraded with an in-tank electronic fuel pump.
Power is delivered through the manual transmission to the rear
axle, which was rebuilt with new bearings and ring-and-pinion
gears, and the driveshaft was repaired and fitted with new
U-joints. The suspension and braking systems were also refreshed
during the refurbishment, and the factory air-conditioning system
was overhauled using factory-style air-conditioning components
sourced from Classic Auto Air. This Camaro features dual exhaust
outlets and rides on 15-inch Rally wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich
Radial T/A white-letter tires. Finished in Mulsanne Blue with white
SS stripes, the exterior includes front and rear spoilers, SS
badging, bright rocker moldings and dual chrome mirrors. The
interior is trimmed in black custom vinyl and features bucket
seats, a center console, three-point seat belts, factory-style
air-conditioning components, a Hurst shifter, aftermarket digital
stereo and full instrumentation with auxiliary gauges.
Documentation supports the correct L34 engine stamping and
build-date alignment with the Norwood assembly data tag, and the
car is offered with recent service records.
