LS1 V-8 engine paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and
GM Positraction rear end. It has new rack-and-pinion steering,
four-wheel disc brakes, new brake lines, new shocks and springs,
new driveshaft, new gas tank, aluminum radiator, new electric fan,
new electric lines from Ron Francis Wiring, and headers feeding a
stainless-steel pipe and Flowmaster exhaust. The truck underwent a
frame-off restoration. The cab (which originated from a 1956
Chevrolet 3800 pickup) and frame are OEM, and the remaining sheet
metal was replaced, including new inner fenders, fenders, radiator
support, grille, hood, doors, bed and bed fenders. Additional
exterior features include a new front bumper, custom rear bumper,
aluminum bed cover, all-wood bed, new glass, new weatherstripping,
new front and rear lights, new locks and latches, and new tires and
rims. The exterior is finished in Matador Red, retaining the
original color. The interior features red and black leather with
white trim, Red Daytona carpet, power windows, air conditioning, a
new radio and full insulation. This truck has approximately 218
