This 1964 Lotus Seven Series 2 is powered by a Toyota 1.6-liter
4A-GE twin-cam 16-valve inline-four engine equipped with dual
Mikuni sidedraft carburetors paired with a four-speed manual
transmission. The engine and transmission were installed prior to
the seller's acquisition in 2011. This lightweight roadster
features a side-exit exhaust and a suspension upgraded to fully
adjustable double wishbones in place of the original single top
link. Stopping is handled by four-wheel disc brakes with a
dual-circuit master cylinder and cockpit-adjustable brake bias bar.
The fiberglass nosecone, bonnet and clamshell fenders have been
refinished in British Racing Green and Ferrari Fly Yellow as an
homage to the Lotus Seven driven in the television series "The
Prisoner." It rides on 13-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in
Yokohama Avid T4 tires and includes a rear-mounted matching spare.
Additional exterior equipment includes a roll hoop and windshield.
The cockpit is trimmed in black vinyl and features dual bucket
seats, a 120-mph speedometer, 7,000-rpm tachometer and auxiliary
gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure and fuel level.
