This 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Edition began life as an
original S-code 390ci big-block Mustang GT fastback, documented by
its original fender VIN, original buck tag and Marti Report.
Following a no-expense-spared, rotisserie restoration, it has been
transformed into a show-quality, officially licensed Eleanor
tribute while preserving its authentic heritage. Power comes from a
Ford Performance 5.0-liter Coyote crate engine, paired with a
six-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch and
Go-Baby-Go shifter. The engine bay has been fully refined and
body-painted to concours standards, presenting an exceptionally
clean, modern aesthetic that highlights the crate engine while
incorporating show-ready LED lighting and original "Gone in 60
Seconds" licensing elements. Exhaust exits through a
custom-fabricated system designed to preserve the iconic
side-rocker appearance while discreetly routing exhaust to the
rear. Power is delivered through a Detroit Speed-built 9-inch rear
end with Positraction, wrapped in 12-inch-wide rear wheels to
properly put the power down. The chassis is fully upgraded with
Detroit Speed components from front to rear, including custom
subframe connectors, Total Control shock-tower bracing, adjustable
front suspension and a fully adjustable rear suspension. Stopping
power is handled by Baer four-wheel disc brakes with Hydraboost
assist, providing modern performance and confidence. The body
underwent a complete rotisserie restoration and is finished in
movie-correct Pepper Gray Metallic, applied using a two-stage paint
process with multiple layers of clearcoat. The restoration includes
a fully detailed underside and a body-painted engine bay. Inside,
the cabin has been fully refreshed to original Eleanor
specifications. Features include custom leather bucket seats, a
center console and overhead console, Flaming River tilt steering
column, a wood-grain-style aluminum steering wheel, electronic
luminescent gauges and dash panel, power windows, air conditioning,
and a custom Bluetooth-capable audio system with multiple
amplifiers and speakers professionally tuned via computer. The
interior is further enhanced with full Dynamat sound insulation
throughout, delivering a refined driving experience. Additional
features include sequential LED taillights, illuminated door sills,
power steering, hidden power antenna, stainless dash and door trim,
and rear fold-down fastback seats housing the movie-correct NOS
bottles. The dashboard is personally signed by Carroll Shelby and
accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. This Mustang is
officially licensed by Gone in 60 Seconds LLC and is accompanied by
an exceptional provenance package, including a certificate of
authenticity signed by Denise Halicki, a professionally framed
30x40-inch official movie poster, authentic signed photographs of
"Gone in 60 Seconds" cast members Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie,
and over $141,000 in documented build receipts.
