This custom 1961 International Scout is powered by a 420hp GM
6.2-liter L86 V-8 engine producing 460 lb-ft of torque at 4,100
rpm, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission operated by
an electronic push-button shifter and routed through a GM
four-wheel-drive transfer case. The drivetrain features Dana 44
axles with 3.73 gears and IH four-wheel-drive lockouts. It is
equipped with a 3-inch stainless-steel exhaust system with a Borla
muffler and an aluminum radiator with a single electric fan. It
features power steering and a custom aluminum fuel cell. The
black-painted chassis is fitted with a 2-inch spring lift and a
1-inch body lift. Stopping power is provided by a power-assisted
four-wheel disc brake conversion using a Wilwood master cylinder.
It rides on 17-inch bronze beadlock Method wheels wrapped in
285/70R17 Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. The exterior is finished in
custom Dark Metallic Brown and complemented by a removable bronze
hardtop color-matched to the wheels and features a CNC-machined
billet grille, LED headlights and CNC 6061 billet aluminum badging
and gas cap. The interior is upholstered in dark and light brown
genuine leather covering front bucket seats and a rear bench, and
includes a paint-matched roll cage, SeaDek floor mats and CNC 6061
aluminum door pulls, window cranks and door latches. The dash is
equipped with an AutoMeter InVision gauge cluster and an Old Air
Products climate-control system. An Alpine touchscreen head unit
controls a five-channel, 1,000-watt stereo system with JBL speakers
and a 10-inch removable subwoofer box located in the trunk.
