This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS Baldwin Motion re-creation is powered
by a 406/396 big-block V-8 engine equipped with a Weiand dual-plane
intake manifold, vacuum-secondary Holley carburetor, mild hydraulic
camshaft, ceramic-coated Hooker Comp headers and Motion black
wrinkle valve covers, paired with a Muncie M20 four-speed manual
transmission and 12-bolt rear end with 3.55 gears. The car has
undergone a professional frame-off restoration and retains original
sheet metal, including floors, trunk, quarters, doors, firewall,
cowl, fenders, decklid and valance panels. Stopping is handled by
1967-only four-piston manual front disc brakes. The exterior is
finished in Triple Black with Satin Black SS and Motion striping,
Motion emblems, a painted and striped Motion hood with stinger trim
and a GM hood. The original polished stainless trim remains in
place, and the inner fenders, radiator support, upper supports and
hood latch components have been powder-coated Satin Black. It rides
on period-correct American Racing wheels wrapped in new BFGoodrich
tires. The interior features a new deluxe configuration with GM
console and GM full gauge package. This factory air-conditioned car
is equipped with an upgraded compressor and condenser. Additional
components include new dash and engine harnesses, headlight motors
and micro switches.
