This 1957 Ford Thunderbird convertible is powered by a 312ci V-8
engine paired with an automatic transmission. The engine was
rebuilt with an oversized cam and the transmission was overhauled.
It is equipped with power steering, power brakes and power windows.
The car underwent a complete frame-off reconditioning during which
every system was rebuilt or replaced, many with NOS parts sourced
from Hills Thunderbird in Ohio. Braking is provided by power
brakes. The exterior features rechromed bumpers, new wide whitewall
tires, new hubcaps and a new battery. It is equipped with an AM/FM
Town & Country radio with a rear trunk-mount antenna and includes
both a hardtop and soft-top. The car received the Gold Medallion
Award and was elevated to Senior Status at the CTCI Regional
Concours in Florida.
