This 1968 Ford Mustang custom fastback is powered by a supercharged
5.0-liter DOHC Coyote V-8 engine dyno-proven at 880hp, equipped
with a Predator supercharger, forged internals, one-off custom
valve covers, 24-karat gold bolts, a conical filter on a
Sandstorm-painted air tube, shorty headers, Vintage Air FrontRunner
accessories, a Ron Davis radiator with electric fans and Lokar
drive-by-wire, paired with a Tremec T56 Magnum six-speed manual
transmission and a fortified rear end with Strange 31-spline axles.
The custom chassis features a Mustang II-style front clip, premium
g-Link rear suspension lowered 2 inches, power rack-and-pinion
steering, subframe connectors, mini tubs, an Aeromotive fuel system
with billet regulator, a Sandstorm-painted fuel tank and fresh
floor pans with body-matched undercoating. Braking is handled by
14-inch cross-drilled rotors with six-piston calipers. A custom
2.5-inch exhaust system with X-pipe and MagnaFlow mufflers manages
exhaust flow. The exterior was refinished in DuPont Magic Red
basecoat with Hot Hues Sandstorm stripes and clearcoat,
incorporating new sheet metal, including OEM front fenders, a
custom front clip with bespoke grilles, 7-inch headlights, a
louvered hood, driving lamps, one-piece side glass, stainless
wipers and frames, shaved drip rails, custom quarter louvers,
rocker panels, shaved fenders, chrome bullet mirrors, distinctive
badging, a custom decklid, sequential Shelby-style taillights,
fender caps, a body-matched bumper and an integrated exhaust
valance. The interior features Cognac and Saddle Italian hide
leather crafted by Davy Chrispen, power-operated front seats, an
aluminum-trimmed dash with AutoMeter Phantom gauges, Ron Francis
wiring, a Pioneer touchscreen, Vintage Air controls, a custom
console with booted shifter, chrome switches, billet cupholders and
pedals, Lokar e-brake, custom side panels with billet handles,
Billet Specialties steering wheel on a tilting Ididit column and
power-operated trunk lined in matching leather with a custom
toolkit and leather luggage set.
