1983 Porsche 930 Turbo Coupe: One owner since new (documented);
factory Slate Blue Metallic (X6); Leather sport seats; always
garaged. The original owner (now elderly) stopped driving the car
in 1994 and kept it safely stored in a climate-controlled warehouse
near La Grange, Texas, for the past 32 years. We purchased it along
with the 14 other cars from his collection, and we did extensive
work to bring it back to driving condition. The following work was
freshly completed: Re-machined the original heads; installed
all-new head studs; new pistons rings; installed new chain
tensioners (upgraded to turbo tensioners); rebuilt fuel
distributor; installed new fuel pumps; installed new fuel lines and
oil lines; new gas tank; new clutch and resurfaced flywheel; new
wires; new spark plugs; new fuel injectors; new shifter bushings;
new tires; and much more. The engine sounds fresh and crisp, as one
would expect with all this fresh work and components. This is a
rare model that was only available outside the United States in
1983, and it was ordered with an excellent color combination and
great options. It was stored in the best of conditions, a true
survivor. An excellent example of one of my all-time favorite car
models. It is refreshed back to its original glory and ready to be
enjoyed. Please complete any inspections or ask any questions prior
to bidding or committing to buy the car. Thanks for the interest!
