This 1967 Porsche 912 coupe is finished in yellow over black
upholstery and powered by an air-cooled 1.6L flat-four paired with
a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 15? steel wheels
with hubcaps, as well as four-wheel disc brakes, pop-out rear
quarter windows, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. The prevoius
owner commisioned the following work: repairis to sheet metal,
repainting the body, and rebuilding the engine.
The car was finished from the factory in Bahama Yellow (6605) and
received sheet metal repairs that involved replacing the floor and
front suspension, and floor pans before a rfinishing. Exterior
details include an aftermarket passenger-side headlight, a left
mirror, pop-out rear quarter windows, bright trim, body-color
bumpers, and rear bumperettes. Imperfections in the finish include
a shade variance on the right side, paint chips, indentations, and
blemishes on the front lid, right quarter panel, and decklid.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in black and
complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and
carpets. Appointments include aluminum dash trim with a "912"
badge, as well as lap belts, door pockets, and a wooden shift knob.
The radio has been removed, and the upholstery on the left-rear
side panel is detaching.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting
of a central tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock,
and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 99k mile. True
mileage is unknown.
The air-cooled 1.6L flat-six features dual carburetors and is said
to have been rebuilt during prevoius ownership.
Documentation accompanying the car includes manufacturer's
literature, previous registration paperwork, and partial service
records.
