This particular build was commissioned for a high-end client here in Utah, and started w/ a 1992 Land Rover Defender 110 4-Door Crew Cab donor, that was in excellent condition to start with, and 100% rust-free. It then underwent a no-expense spared body-off restoration, full nut & bolt, using all brand-new high-quality parts & components. The body was finished in Alpine White, using high-quality Spies Hecker paint and implementing a new multi-layer system, including aluminum primer, as well as base-coat & clear-coat. Exterior features & upgrades include: Bigfoot nose upgrade, tubular Bigfoot front bumper, Fire & Ice side steps, NAS rear step bumper, diamond-plate exterior package, swing-away wheel carrier, skid-plate/steering guard, Safety Devices external roll-cage, Safety Devices full-length roof rack w/ ladder, metal PUMA hood w/ stainless steel fixings, WARN ZEON 10-S remote-controlled winch, 4X LED high beam lights on cage up front, 1x LED reverse light bar on cage in back, LED headlights, LED taillights, sliding windows between cabin & trunk bed, and much more. The original frame was industrially cleaned (internally & externally), shot blasted, epoxy coated, and then completely painted. A durability package was added, including a hot-dipped galvanized bulkhead, new rear cross-member, middle cross member, and all new metal brackets. All of the suspension was upgraded w/ high performance shocks, as well as heavy-duty anti-roll bars front & rear. This awesome truck rolls on black 16” Bigfoot beadlock wheels, wrapped w/ Toyo M/T Open Country tires (LT385/70/R16). She has a perfect stance and looks quite mean & ominous. You can walk around this truck a hundred times and she looks absolutely perfect from every angle.
When you open the driver’s door, you will find beautiful handmade custom gray leather interior, including a 2nd row bench seat, and 3rd row benches out back. Interior features include: heated leather seats up front, leather dashboard, custom leather center console w/ custom shifter, leather steering wheel, Alcantra custom headliner throughout, billet aluminum interior package, new privacy glass all around, sunroof, custom air-conditioning system w/ rear AC extension, power windows, Pioneer Double-DIN media system w/ touch screen (Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth & time alignment), Morel high-end speaker system (amplifier, sub-woofer, high & low tone speakers), remote locks w/ alarm system & custom original Land Rover remotes, and full premium carpeting throughout. This luxurious interior is not only beautiful, but it is super comfortable and highly functional in every way.
When you pop open the hood, you will find a new LS3 6.2 Liter Corvette V8 crate motor (450hp), linked to a 6-speed automatic transmission, which feeds power to the Quaife ATB limited-slip differentials on the front & rear. Other upgrades include: heavy-duty Quaife limited-slip LT230 transfer case w/ oil sump, heavy-duty half-shafts, CV joints & drive flanges. Stopping power comes from an upgraded brake system, featuring 290mm vented discs w/ 2 pot calipers in the rear, and 290mm vented discs w/ 4 pot calipers up front. A custom stainless-steel exhaust system runs underneath and sounds amazing. She fires up instantly, settling into a nice smooth idle, and runs, drives & performs beautifully in every way. This Bigfoot is an absolute blast to drive and has loads of power & torque. It will also get more attention than you have ever had in your life, as anywhere that you decide to go there will be folks gathered around snapping photos on their smartphones.
