custom truck!!! This beauty will tow a trailer, haul a heavy load,
and still look great at the local car shows!!!
The first thing you notice is the beautiful bright red paint
accented nicely with custom gold leaf accents and the Diamond T
emblem on the door. The Diamond T brand was considered "the
Cadillac of trucks" and this one certainly lives up to that
tagline! The chrome front grille and bumper are tasteful and look
like they came from the factory. A totally custom wooden stake
body, with gooseneckhitch provision, graces the back and looks
stunning! The steel flatbed body beneath it has been restored and
features LED lighting and Cummins mud flaps! Completingthe look are
a custom set of Alcoa 19.5in alloy wheels with custom floating
Diamond T center caps. They are wrapped in BF Goodrich 245/70R19.5
tires that have plenty of tread life left in them. The exhaust is
routed througha set of custom stainless steel stacks attached
behind the cab.
This truly unique build is powered by the infamous 6BTA, 5.9 liter
commercial inline six cylinder engine mated to a Fuller Roadranger
8 speed manual transmission! Talk about a beefy drivetrain!! It is
a breeze to drive thanks to air brakes and power steering! Best of
all vintage air conditioning keeps the temperature in the cab just
right no matter what time of year it is! This extensive build
features many modern amenities such as trailer brakes and several
hitch systems to ensure you can tow just about anything you
desire.
Open the door to step inside and you will see a beautiful custom
Tan leather interior with Lincoln power front bucket seats. A
modern CD stereo and CB radio keep you both informed and
entertained during your trips! A tilt steering column makes entry
and exit easy and it is topped off with a LeCarra 3 spoke leather
wrapped steering wheel. All of the wiring was upgraded as were the
windshieldwipers so you can even drive in inclement weather if
needed. The dash features a custom lower extension to hide all of
the AC ducts and keep everything neat and tidy. Beautiful Classic
Instruments white faced gauges with gold bezels keep you informed
and look incredible!
