Original Broadcast sheet, clear title, This car runs great and shifts smooth with slapstick shifter.  Exterior has minor dimples here and there, but overall shows nicely.  the paint around the roof quarters has faded where it was leaded in. Also there are a few dimples on front of roof area that surely could be popped out w paintless dent repair. All glass is original and windows manually roll up and down. This car was sold 4 years ago at Volo Auto Museum and there is a great YOUTUBE video of this car still there with around 47000 miles. Other than new tires, oil changes, brake pads etc,  I had it inspected by a Mopar guy and he said, "This is a great example of an all original TA" I have owned this car for 3 years and it was sold 4 years ago at VOLO. Ive got over $90k into the car and just seek to recoup my investment as I encounter health issues. This is a rare opportunity to own a survivor T/A. This is a 48,800 original mile unrestored car.

The first owner divorced his wife and she was awarded the car. She parked it in storage for many years.  Why is a T/A so special? They were a very limited production, high performance car based on Dodge's Trans Am race car. Only 1,411 automatics and 989 4-speeds were ever made. It was only a 1 year production. It's not just a 340 car with a 6 pack and fancy decals slapped on it. The engine blocks were actually unique to this car, built stronger. It also has special heads, modified valve train and 3 holley carbs. The burnt fuel is let out through a low restriction exhaust that exits in front of each rear tire. The rear tires are taller to give clearance to the side exhaust which also gives the car a cool stance. Other features include a sure grip rear, upgraded brakes with disc in front, rallye suspension, quick ratio steering and performance tires on 15x7 wheels. It also features a light weight fiberglass hood in flat black to eliminate glare to the driver with an air intake scoop and racing pins. Special stripes, emblems, pop up gas cap, racing mirror, blacked out grill and new dove tail spoiler make it look the part. EXTERIOR: 100% original metal. No rust or significant damage. Other than garage dents and dings it's never been in an accident. Over half the paint is still original. It has several nicks and flaws. The fiberglass hood is original and fits good. All the trim, chrome and weatherstrips are original. The glass is original. The windshield has a 1972 Minnesota vehicle inspection sticker. The 15 inch rallye wheels are in excellent shape, tires were replaced with BFGs. INTERIOR: All original interior. Extremely rare cloth inserts in the seats. Mopar expert Galen Govier has only seen one other T/A or AAR with cloth seats. It also has the rare and desirable rally dash with a full set of gauges. Original dash pad is in excellent shape, only a few very tiny cracks near the speaker. The steering wheel is not worn. The seats are in very good shape for their age, driver's side has one small tear. The carpet is worn through on the driver's side. Door panels and plastic trim is in excellent shape. It does have some discoloring but not cracked or deteriorated. Headliner is in very nice shape whit a small tear hidden behind the visor. There is an extra fuel gauge cut into the instrument panel. The center console is in real nice shape. Has complete set of original blue seat belts. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It still has it's born with, vin number matching performance 340 T/A motor with all the stock components. Factory Edelbrock intake and 6-pack carbs. The carbs were rebuilt and function great. Original valve covers, exhaust manifold, 's ram air assembly. The alternator looks new. Desirable features include power steering and power brakes. Everything looks proper- the squirters are hooked, it has original radiator and horns. A Mopar battery is bolted down properly. The original fender tag is still in place and it has the Trans Am tag next to it. The vin number on the core support and cowl match the car. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is completely original in the trunck. Rock solid original metal with no rot, cuts or patches. It does have some insignificant surface rust under the mat. The original collapsible spare has never been used and includes the air bottle. The complete jack assembly is in place. The mat, weatherstrip and jacking sticker are original. The mat still has Chrysler stamp on the back side of it. UNDERSIDE: Very well preserved original underside. The metal is completely uncut original. It has factory undercoat, it's never been spray canned. The components look proper but original. There are still assembly line markings showing. The shocks have been replaced. The fuel system was gone through, tank was replaced. The brakes have been redone. They are disc in front. The e-brake cables are hooked up. Rare side outlet exhaust. The pipes from the motor to the mufflers are original. The mufflers and tailpipes were replaced with correct Mopar parts. Looking up at the motor it's still clean, the starter looks new. It has it's original numbers matching 727 Torqueflite automatic trans. In back it has it's original 8 3/4 rear end with optional 3.91 sure grip gears. Yellow factory paint marking is still visible. They are only original once. It's a lot easier to find grandma's brown sedan tucked away with low miles. Rarely is such a hot muscle car like this left alone. I consulted a MOPAR expert  knows Mopars. and he vetted the car for me before I bought it. You and I can be confident this is a legit car.
