INTRODUCTION: This shortbed is exceptional! Frame off build with GM
crate motor and trans, performance suspension and brakes and a show
quality presentation.
EXTERIOR: The exterior has a jaw-dropping finish that looks like a
piece of wet, hard candy. Beautiful burgundy metallic, the paint
glows with depth and richness, and the clear coat has been polished
to a glass-smooth shine. The metallic is laid out evenly across
every panel, producing crisp highlights and a liquid appearance
that truly sets this truck apart. Equally impressive is the
bodywork. The panels are laser-straight with no signs of rust,
damage, or waviness, and the fit is excellent throughout. Doors,
hood, and bed all align properly. The brightwork appears to be
replaced, including the deluxe side moldings, vent window frames,
grille, bumpers, emblems, mirrors, and marker lights. It even
features new smoked glass and fresh weatherstripping throughout for
a clean, finished look. Completing the stance is a set of 20 inch
Riddler wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season
performance tires.
INTERIOR: Inside strikes a careful balance between vintage charm
and modern convenience. The factory-style gauge cluster maintains
its original appearance, but it's actually a set of RetroTech
digital-analog instruments - complete with a tachometer and even a
clock. The stereo follows the same philosophy: a retro-style
digital unit that fits neatly in the factory location and uses
original-style knobs for a seamless appearance. Even the air
conditioning controls have been thoughtfully upgraded, now
operating with smooth electric slides instead of the old cable
system. Bright LED interior lighting adds clarity and reliability,
while a completely updated wiring system with a modern fuse block
ensures everything functions safely and dependably. Visually, the
interior is just as impressive as the technology behind it. All the
metal surfaces are painted as slick as the exterior. The seat has
been re-cushioned and reupholstered for comfort, complemented by
new seat belts, deluxe door panels, armrests, window cranks, and
handles. It features the optional headliner, a cushion-grip
steering wheel on a tilt column, and fresh carpet with matching
floor mats to finish it off. The result is a cab that feels classic
at a glance - but thoroughly modern where it matters.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood, this C10 is powered by a stout
GM crate 454 big-block, paired with a Edelbrock aluminum intake and
modern EFI system for smooth, reliable performance. Ignition duties
are handled by an MSD system, while a set of stainless headers feed
the exhaust with aggressive sound and clean styling. The engine bay
is fully dressed with a complete Front Runner billet accessory
system, including a serpentine belt, AC compressor, modern
alternator, and power steering. Braking is equally impressive,
featuring a cadmium-plated power brake booster paired with a
Wilwood master cylinder. Cooling is handled with a large aluminum
radiator, waterpump and overflow bottle, supported by twin electric
fans. The engine bay is as clean as the rest of the truck, with the
metal smoothed and holes filled, then painted slick and glossy to
match the exterior. It's fitted with a set of polished billet hood
hinges for smooth operation. Every detail has been carefully
finished, even the windshield washer squirters are hooked up.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the bed, the level of finish matches the
rest of the truck. All the metal surfaces are painted as slick as
the exterior. The bed has been fitted with wide wheel tubs to
accommodate the oversized tires. The floor features beautifully
refinished oak wood boards, accented by polished stainless trim
strips. and hardware that gleam against the rich wood grain.
UNDERSIDE: This truck is a full body-off-frame restoration,
upgraded with a complete QA1 suspension kit that transforms the
driving experience while giving it a perfectly balanced stance. Up
front, it features a tubular crossmember and control arms, coilover
adjustable gas shocks, a heavy-duty sway bar, and precise
rack-and-pinion steering. Out back, a QA1 conversion continues the
performance theme, with double-adjustable coilover gas shocks,
adjustable tubular control arms, and a Panhard bar for superior
handling and ride quality. The braking system is all business, with
Wilwood drilled and slotted disc brakes at all four corners, paired
with a complete e-brake assembly. A full stainless steel,
TIG-welded exhaust with X-pipe ensures both sound and efficiency,
it has a relocated custom fuel tank too. Looking up at the engine,
you'll notice an aluminum extra capacity oil pan and a high-torque
starter, supporting the GM crate 454. Power is sent through a GM
crate 4L80E overdrive automatic transmission, through a rebuilt
driveshaft, and on to a 3.73 Positraction rear end, combining
modern drivability with classic muscle-car feel.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: This isn't just another C10, the features and
workmanship exceed most others available, not to mention it is
gorgeous!
