1986 Chevrolet C10 Restomod | 2-Owner TN Truck | 6.0/LSA | 4L80E |
QA1 | Wilwood | Vintage Air | Terminator X
This 1986 Chevrolet C10 started life as a 2-owner Tennessee truck
with roughly 60k showing on the odometer-then it was taken through
a full, no-shortcuts rebuild that began in 2020. The previous owner
commissioned the restoration for his wife; after she didn't take to
it, the truck was sold and eventually landed with you. Since then
it's been thoughtfully upgraded in stages-first for driving and
refinement, then for modern handling/braking, and finally for
serious boost.
The result is a C10 that looks classic, drives tight, and has the
powertrain and supporting hardware to back it up.
Exterior
Finished in Victory Red with the right stance and presence-this
isn't a quick respray. The cab and bed were removed from the frame,
the chassis was addressed, and the truck was reassembled with the
kind of detail you only get when it's apart.

materials, insulation, upgraded instrumentation, and a properly
designed audio system.

Engine & Drivetrain
The drivetrain foundation came from a wrecked 2016 2500HD, but it
didn't stay stock for long. The 6.0 was torn down and rebuilt with
quality internals, then later upgraded again with an LSA
supercharger and supporting components. Everything is managed by a
Holley Terminator X Max ECU, which is the right move for a modern,
serviceable swap with clean tuning support.

suspension/brakes, the truck was taken to the next level with
boost:
LSA supercharger installed
Solid isolator
Ported snout
Reinforced intercooler brick
Griptec pulley
ICT front drive setup
Oversized intercooler mounted in the grille
Transmission / Rear End
Upgraded 4L80E automatic transmission

fuel system you want to see on an LSA/6.0 truck.
Dual fuel tanks
Dual Walbro 250 fuel pumps
Exhaust
Custom mandrel-bent 2.5" exhaust
Magnaflow mufflers
Steering & Brakes
This C10 doesn't just accelerate-it stops and handles like a modern
performance truck.

Wilwood 4-piston rear brakes
New master cylinder
QA1 suspension listed above provides real tunability and
control
The Drive
This one was built and refined in real life-not just finished and
parked. You drove it in multiple stages, improving it with purpose
each time. Today it's the kind of truck that starts easily, runs
clean, drives tight, and delivers that "modern restomod" feel with
classic squarebody style. By your description: everything functions
as it should, and it's in great shape overall.
Trailer Ready
This truck is wired correctly to work, not just look good.
Trailer brake wiring installed
Trailer brake controller hidden under the dash
Proven use towing hot rods on an open aluminum trailer
