This 1955 Chevrolet 210 Post has only had three owners, the second owner bought it, never drove it, and sold it to me within a year. The original owners bought the car in 1955 in Salina, Kansas while stationed in the Air Force. It was the 4,124th unit manufactured from the local GM plant. In 2006, they did a complete frame-off restoration. They owned it until 2018, and I have an amazing documented history of the car that the wife authored, which I have decided to honor by doing the same myself.
This car has always been driven around town within a 10 mile radius, thus the odometer reading. It is NOT a show car with a spotless engine compartment and parked 99% of the year and only driven to shows. It has ALWAYS been well-maintained with regular service and runs GREAT!!! I bought it and continuously invest in it to drive and enjoy it.
Since I've owned it, everything except the frame, body, upholstery and under dash wiring was gutted and replaced by me. Theres a couple of front window scratches and a chipped paint spot on the left front fender from where someone insisted on parking next to me even though I alway spark at the edge of any parking lot where no one else is. Anyway, if I have time I might go ahead and have those painted. Upholstery was next on my list as well.
As of 24-Apr-2026, I just had the rear main seal replaced and went ahead and did a transmission and oil change along with brand new gaskets for the transmission and oil pans. Revved around town and she's running mighty fine and the EFI is tuned in perfect.
