This beautiful Mopar is a 1967 Plymouth Satellite finished in
Metallic Blue with a secondary silver accent. It keeps a mostly
stock appearance but brings a serious attitude with its silver Ram
Air hood. The stance is dialed in just right, sitting on perfectly
sized chrome wheels that give it an aggressive yet balanced look.
The chrome bumpers remain solid and bright, and the grille retains
its factory character with tri-bar headlights installed. All glass
presents well with no major damage noted. There's a single side
mirror-correct for many Mopars of the era, though not original to
the Satellite. This is a really nice big block car.
Inside, the cabin is clean, sporty, and ready to drive. Front power
Sebring seats with Mopar logos embroidered into the headrests are
properly installed and comfortable. The door panels, carpet, dash,
and headliner are all in good shape. A GT aftermarket steering
wheel mounts to a chrome steering column, while the factory-style
gauge cluster maintains an original look. To the right, three
Sunpro auxiliary gauges provide accurate readings, with three
switches below-fuel, fan, and one blank. An AM/FM/CD/DVD Bluetooth
radio sits neatly integrated on a custom center console. Right next
to the console, within easy reach, is a Pistol Grip Hurst shifter.
The upholstered trunk is just as tidy as the interior, with a Mopar
embroidered logo and an Optima battery.
Under the hood, the engine bay is detailed and impressive. A 512
cubic-inch stroker V8 is topped with an Edelbrock Performer High
Rise intake and Edelbrock carburetor. An aluminum radiator with
electric fans and a serpentine belt setup keeps things cool and
efficient. Power routes through an A833 4-speed manual transmission
to an 8-inch rear axle. It rides on stock-style suspension with
power disc brakes at all four corners. Long-tube Hooker headers
feed dual exhaust and Flowmasters, delivering that unmistakable
deep Mopar rumble. Chrome 15-inch Torq Thrust-style wheels wrapped
in 235/60R15 front and 255/60R15 rear tires complete the
package.
