1966 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 396 138 VIN, POWER STEERING, POWER FRONT
DISC BRAKES This is one sharp looking Chevelle with its factory
color Regal Red, code R. The body is exceptionally nice. Looking
down both sides it is straight, your first impression will be a
great one. The chrome on the bumpers, door handles, mirror, vent
windows and hood louvers are all in good shape. All of the glass is
nice and the windows roll up and down good. It has newer weather
stripping and window seals. It sits on a set of 15x7 Chevy Rallys
with 225/70/15 BFG T/A radial tires in the front and 15x8 Chevy
Rallys with 235/70/15 BFG T/A radials in rear for that staggered
aggressive look. The motor compartment is nicely detailed. It
features a date coded 1966, 396 ci engine casting number 3855961,
that has been completely rebuilt and has factory exhaust manifolds.
This Chevelle has a few upgrades that include: a Weiand aluminum
intake manifold, Holley dual feed 4 barrel carburetor with correct
fuel line, newer 4 core radiator with correct fan shroud, newer
cadmium plated brake booster with upgraded dual master cylinder,
factory chrome air cleaner and valve covers. This beautiful
Chevelle has all of the desirable features. The interior is nice
from the headliner to the carpet. In between the black factory
bucket seats is a factory console with factory Muncie shifter. It
retains its factory 2-spoke wood steering wheel. The door panels,
armrests and chrome bezels on the dash are in good condition. It
has the optional gauges in the dash and a factory Knee Knocker
tachometer, retro AM/FM radio and original factory GM front and
rear seat belts. The undercarriage is very impressive. It appears
to be all clean metal. Looking up at the motor and Muncie M20
4-speed manual transmission, they are both clean. The front end
suspension, steering components and bushings have been gone
through. It has upgraded front disc brakes. It has a newer 2.5"
dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers and tailpipes that
dump behind the rear wheels. The fuel and brake lines look nice as
well. There is a newer fuel tank, sending unit and straps. It
features a 12 bolt rear with 3:55 running gears. The trunk appears
to be all clean metal. The trunk features a spare tire, jack
assembly, lug wrench and newer weather stripping. This is a
beautiful Chevelle that will have heads turning to get a better
look while you're driving down the road. It runs and drives very
well. *Please contact us for the most complete information on this
