Description:
This 1983 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 was cosmetically and mechanically refurbished in Colombia between 2019 and 2020 before it was imported to the US. The project involved a repaint, repairing and refinishing the frame, refreshing the interior, overhauling the 4.2-liter 2F inline-six, brakes, and suspension, and installing power steering, air conditioning, and a rebuilt five-speed manual transmission.

Interior:
The split front bench is trimmed in black leather with red stitching, and the cabin is equipped with air conditioning and a Pioneer stereo. The rear cabin features a pair of inward-facing benches installed over custom speaker enclosures. A three-spoke steering wheel frames the silver instrument bezel, which houses a 160-km/h speedometer and supplementary gauges.

Exterior:
Steel 16? wheels wear 235/70 Cooper Discoverer AT tires, and a spare is mounted out back. The truck has manually locking front hubs, vacuum-assisted front disc brakes, a front stabilizer bar, and power steering. The two-door FJ43 is the medium-wheelbase version of the FJ40. This example is said to have been refinished in Freeborn Red in 2019, and H4 headlights are fitted.

Drivetrain:
Factory rated at 135 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque, the 4.2-liter 2F inline-six sends power to the rear or all four wheels through an H55F five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
