***Vehicle Located in ME - Zoom Classic Cars presents this
beautiful 1989 Lincoln Town Car Sedan Signature Series. Acquired in
2003 by current owner from a relative with 80k miles and driven
approximately 8500 miles since. Always meticulously maintained and
garaged this Town Car features beautiful original Sandstone
Clearcoat Metallic paint over tan leather interior in excellent
overall condition with no rips or tears in the seating. Drivers
seat has been always covered with sheepskin cover and the seat
underneath is like new. 5 Liter 302CI V8 engine coupled with the
AOD 4 Speed transmission with Ford 8.8 inch rear with 3.27
conventional gearing. 1989 was the last of the Lincoln Series to
offer the Landau Top also referred to as the "Coach Roof", working
opera lamps on the B Pillar, chromes accents all around the
exterior and the classic Lincoln badging and hood ornament.
Impressively preserved undercarriage. Independent coil springs
upfront, and 4 link with coil springs provide the executive ride.
Power disc brakes upfront, and power drums on the rear and all the
power options you would expect from a well appointed Lincoln,
windows, steering etc. Aftermarket AM/FM.CD and nice dash with wood
applique trim in excellent condition. Original factory alloy wheels
in excellent condition. Some things requiring attention are the
Overdrive which only works intermittently but otherwise the car
transmission shifts without issues through first 3 gears. The rear
driver's side power window doesn't work and requires repair. The AC
belt in the trunk needs to be installed and the high beam switch
needs attention. Tires are in very good condition with plenty of
tread but older and may need replacement. Car comes with full car
cover, the original radio in the trunk, the original bumper jack
and two spare tires, one full size and the other a smaller
emergency donut. Car is stored in Maine with clean title in the
owner's name. Reasonably priced considering minor issues needing
attention. Call Jeff for more information or to schedule a viewing
of this very nice Town Car. Thanks for looking.
