Superbee with 149, unknown miles on the odometer. This car is
finished in a near perfect Dark Burnt Orange Metallic and has a
complementary Dark Burnt Orange Vinyl bucket interior. Overall,
this car is in great condition, is mechanically sound and very
fast.
This 1970 Dodge Coronet Superbee is one of 1,072 440-powered
hardtops built. Power is provided by a non-numbers-matching 496ci
stroker V8 with a 440 block built by "Barbara Ann" Spiro and backed
by a 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission built by FB Performance
Transmissions; this is blanketed and rated for 750 horsepower. The
engine is reported to produce 500 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of
torque at the wheels between 4,500 and 6,000 rpm. Underhood
features include a 570 UltraDyne camshaft with solid lifters and
906 ported and polished heads, Three 2-barrel carburetors (6 Pack),
an MSD ignition, power steering and finned, cast aluminum valve
covers.

Options include power brakes, power steering, a factory tick-tock
tachometer, a PST suspension kit, steel wheels with beauty rings,
and a rare Gator Grain vinyl top. This Dark Burnt Orange Metallic
Super Bee with a Dark Burnt Orange vinyl interior is available now

Originally built at the Lynch Road Assembly plant in Detroit, this
car was repainted approximately 4 years ago in the correct color of
Dark Burnt Orange Metallic (FK5) as verified by the trim tag.
Features include chrome bumpers, quad headlights, a 440 6-pack
power bulge hood, a white Super Bee tail stripe, and a black Gator
Grain vinyl roof.
A set of 15-inch Steel wheels is wrapped in Cooper Cobra Radial G/T
tires, 225/70R on the front and 275/60R on the rear. The passenger
side mirror was added to make the car appear symmetrical.
The front bucket seats and matching rear seat, trim, and door
panels are upholstered with Dark Burnt Orange vinyl. Features
include an orange steel dashboard, a console-mounted automatic
shifter, orange carpeting with matching Superbee Mats, power
steering, power brakes, and manual windows.
A 150-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tick-tock tachometer, and gauges
for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and
generator are located in a simulated woodgrain panel ahead of the
driver. An additional set of three aftermarket gauges for the oil
pressure, voltage, and water temperature are mounted under the
dashboard. The speedometer is not working but the car comes with a
new factory head.
This Super Bee came factory-equipped with an independent front
suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Upgrades include a new fuel
tank, full PST suspension kit with subframe connectors, an
8.75-inch rear axle with posi-traction and 3.91 gearing, a Borla
dual exhaust system with electric cut-outs, and CALTRACS traction
bars. The power steering is high performance power steering from a
1980's police car. Braking power is provided by front discs and
rear drums. The bottom was been undercoated to protect the car.
