Gateway Classic Cars Tampa Showroom is honored to digitally present
this 1956 Packard Patrician. "Founded in 1899, Packard was one of
America's premier luxury carmakers for decades. Unlike many
independent companies, Packard survived the Great Depression and
continued to lead the market in front of Cadillac and Lincoln,
which benefitted from the huge support of large corporations like
GM and Ford." (Autoevolution.com). The '56 was considered by many
to be the last "True" Packard. How many Patricians are left is
anyone's guess, but this one has a lot of life left in her. The
current owner had the motor and transmission rebuilt. In addition,
the consignor went to painstaking detail to make sure things work
on this highly optioned Packard. If you've never seen the interior
of a Packard Patrician, it is a true work of art. The powerful V8
sounds low and sweet and she goes down the road like it's 1956 all
over again. And it's more comfortable than your grandma's couch.
Packard lovers, these are getting hard to find, but here's a good
one!
