This 1959 Chevrolet Impala Convertible is absolutely gorgeous,
meticulously restored '59 Impala with great options and even better
curb appeal! When it comes to automotive history, few "sequels"
have ever outshined the original quite like the 1959 Chevrolet
Impala Convertible. While the Impala first appeared in 1958 as the
top trim level of the Bel Air series, its second act in 1959
cemented its reputation as one of the most iconic and collectible
American cars of all time. Emerging from Chevrolet's legendary
Tri-Five era (1955-1957), the brand had already established itself
as a styling and sales powerhouse. Although Chevrolet completely
redesigned its passenger cars for 1958, it wasn't until the
introduction of the 1959 Chevrolet Impala that the bowtie brand
truly redefined late-1950s American design. Unveiled to dealers in
October 1958, the 1959 models were entirely reimagined-and, for the
first time, the Impala became its own standalone model, replacing
the Bel Air as Chevrolet's top-of-the-line passenger car. From
bumper to bumper, the '59 Impala Convertible featured bold,
space-age styling unlike anything else on the road. The hood was
lower, wider, and flatter, accented by jet-inspired air intakes
above the grille and dramatic rocket-like fender ornaments. Up
front, the previous year's cross-hatch grille was replaced by a
striking horizontal design segmented by seven vertical bars, each
adorned with a distinctive cylindrical detail. A newly styled front
bumper further reinforced the futuristic aesthetic that defined
1959 Chevrolet styling. Along the sides, wide Impala-exclusive
beltline trim immediately distinguished it from lesser Chevrolet
models. But it is the rear of the 1959 Chevy Impala that made
history. Enlarged rear quarter panels formed dramatic "gull-wing"
fins that framed the instantly recognizable, one-year-only "Cat
Eye" taillights-a design element that has become synonymous with
late-1950s American automotive excess and artistry. Inside, the
transformation was just as dramatic. The cabin received all-new
upholstery patterns, including the iconic tri-color cloth inserts,
along with a redesigned dashboard featuring an aircraft-inspired
five-pod instrument cluster, updated stainless trim, and modernized
interior panels. Adding to its exclusivity, the Impala was the only
Chevrolet passenger car in 1959 offered in a convertible body
style-making the 1959 Chevrolet Impala Convertible the ultimate
expression of Chevy's style, performance, and prestige that year.
Today, the '59 Impala Convertible remains one of the most
sought-after and recognizable classic Chevrolets ever built-an
enduring symbol of the bold design, innovation, and optimism that
defined the golden age of American automobiles. This particular '59
Impala Convertible comes to us from a well-established collector
who reportedly owned and stewarded this car for quite some time.
Under the hood of this 1959 Chevy Impala is a "Turbo-Thrust" 348
cubic inch V8 engine fed by a single 4 barrel carburetor that
together were said to have produced 250 horsepower when new. The
W-Series Chevy big block is backed by a Powerglide Automatic
transmission that makes this ragtop an easy car for anybody to
drive. The exhaust sound on this '59 Impala is fantastic, exiting
from a wonderful dual exhaust setup. This 1959 Impala Convertible
is absolutely packed with options! With power steering, maneuvering
this luxurious Chevrolet in and out of a tight parking space a the
local car show or even an ice cream parlor is a total breeze.

exterior appearance of this classic 50s cruiser. The interior of
this 1959 Chevrolet Impala Convertible is absolutely stunning! The
front and rear seats have been reupholstered in red "leather-soft"
vinyl accented with silver piping accents and the iconic '59 Impala
tri-color cloth inserts that really set off the look of this
Convertible. The matching red door panels, brand new red carpeting,
matching custom embroidered floor mats, Roman Red dash, and
steering wheel all appear to be in wonderful condition as well and
all of which remain in nice stock configuration. The instrument
cluster is fully equipped with wide array of gauges including a 120
MPH speedometer, temperature gauge, and gasoline gauge, as well as
a clock and indicator lights for the generator and oil pressure,
all of which remain in their stock configuration. You'll really be

controls for the wipers, lights, and heater/defroster, as well as a
locking glovebox. Whether you already have a herd of Impalas in
your garage or you're buying your very first classic car, this 1959
Chevrolet Impala Convertible would make an excellent choice. Give
