"Replicas of popular vintage cars are a thing. With replicas, you
get the classic looks of the original, but they're typically easier
to drive, maintain, and don't come with the soul-crushing price
tags that collectible sports cars often do. The Porsche 356 is one
of the most commonly replicated cars - it's a beautiful all-time
classic, but original examples are old, rare, and can cost north of
a quarter million dollars."-turo.com
This Porsche Speedster Replica is finished in black with a tan
interior and tonneau cover as well as a black vinyl soft top. Power
for this Speedster is supplied by a 1.7-liter air cooled
flat-four-cylinder motor mated to a 4-speed manual
transmission.
The flat-four motor which has been upgraded with dual EMPI
carburetors comes to a quick start and idles smoothly.
Uniquely built on what appears to be a full-size Volkswagen
chassis, this Speedster provides additional leg room, as well as
storage behind the front seats.
The black paint shows well on the fiberglass body with the typical
wear associated with a driver quality car. The tan interior
features a wood steering wheel as well as driver and passenger lap
belts. This replica shows 10 miles on the inoperable odometer; the
true miles are unknown.
This Porsche Speedster is currently running on 15" steel wheels
with chrome Porsche Crest hubcaps wrapped in Tornel 155/80R15
tires.
This car is currently registered in New Hampshire as a 2022 Porsche
356.
