When it comes to muscle cars, there is nothing quite like a
first-generation Camaro. Power, prestige, and pizazz begin to
describe this beautiful 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS 350 Tribute. Fully
repainted in its original Butternut Yellow exterior paint, while
its contrasting black nose stripe and vinyl hardtop complement its
redline rubber and iconic American Racing wheels.
Inside, we find a slick black vinyl interior. A pair of bucket
seats offers an expansive view of the open road, while this Camaro
also features a power-assisted, three-spoke steering wheel. Just
beyond that is a big 120 mph speedometer and a matching fuel gauge.
A trio of white-faced Equus auxiliary gauges sits under the dash,
providing additional info about that small block rumbling just
ahead of you.
Under that cowl hood, we find a clean engine bay with a classic
350-cubic-inch V-8 engine. A single four-barrel Holley carburetor
mounted to an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake feeds the motor, while
a FlowMaster dual exhaust does away with spent gases. Power gets
funneled through a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission
before heading out to the 12-bolt rear end. The aforementioned
American Racing wheels are shod in 235/60R-15 rear and staggered
225/60R-15 front Redline rubber.
