This car was restored some time ago but overall, she still looks
really good. The body is solid and clean especially the floors,
trunk and frame. It looks like it may have been "frame-off"
restored at some point and it appears to have had the left 1/4
panel replaced but it looks to have been professionally installed
and very well done. The "Marina Blue" base/clear paint is slick and
smooth with a deep luster and show car shine. We just compounded
and polished it and added a 1-year ceramic coating to protect the
shine. It has very nice chrome, trim, weather-stripping and glass
too.
The black bench seat interior is also in very nice condition
including the seats, carpets, door panels and headliner. It does
have a Super Sport dash insert and added gauges. It is all
VERY-VERY NICE!
Power comes from a strong running awesome sounding "Big Block"
engine that we just had professionally rebuilt. It is a 454c.i. 4
bolt main block with 427c.i. forged internals (crank-rods-pistons)
The cylinders were honed, rods reconditioned, polished the crank,
installed new rings and new bearings, a new high volume oil pump,
new high lift hydraulic cam with new lifters, new timing chain and
gears and reconditioned the heads (valve job) It also has an
aluminum intake and a fresh rebuilt Holley 750 cfm carburator as
well as an MSD ignition system, new headers and a new Flow Master
dual exhaust system. This engine runs strong and sounds amazing! It
is backed up by a M-22 "ROCKCRUSHER" 4 speed transmission with
correct Hurst shifter with a brand-new clutch and a freshly machine
flywheel and it has a 12 bolt posi rear with street friendly
gears.
Other features include power steering, power disc brakes (front
only) new "RideTech" tubular upper and lower control arms with
adjustable coil-over shocks at all 4-corners. It also has 15" Rally
wheels with B.F.G tires and a whole lot more!
Yes it's true, this beautiful Chevelle is only a "136" car but you
sure as hell can't tell it's not a real "138" Super Sport by
looking at it or listening to it because all the right trim is in
all the right places including a new thumping Big Block Engine, a
4-Speed Muncie Transmission and a 12 Bolt Posi Rear but what it
doesn't have is a real "138" Super Sport price tag!! DON'T MISS
IT!!
