Corvette Convertible Resto-Mod, privately owned by a long-time and
trusted Celebrity Cars client. This car runs and drives
exceptionally well and represents a no-expense-spared, body-off,
ground-up restoration completed in2023.
This classic C2 Corvette has been thoughtfully re-engineered with
modern performance and drivability, riding on anew C4 Corvette
chassis and suspensionwhile retaining iconic 1967 styling.
Power comes from aperiod-correct, professionally rebuilt 427ci
Chevrolet Big Block, rated at435 horsepower, featuring the
legendarytriple-deuce (3x2) Holley carburetor setup. The engine was
rebuilt byPaul Pfaff Racing Engines (California)and paired with
aTremec 5-speed manual transmission, delivering thrilling
performance with modern highway manners. Power is sent through a
Corvette independent rear suspension with4.11 gears.
Finished in classicMarina Blue (Code 976)with ablack convertible
top, the exterior is complemented by a Big Block hood, dual
side-pipe exhaust with custom headers, LED lighting upgrades, and
beautifully restored stainless and chrome work.
Inside, the cabin featurescustom ivory bucket seatswith lowered
seat frames, upholstered byRon Mangus Hot Rod Interiors, providing
both comfort and authenticity. The interior is further enhanced by
a Flaming River painted tilt column, factory in-dash tachometer,
functional factory clock, and all gauges rebuilt byJohn Wolf &
Company. A Bluetooth audio system has been discreetly added, while
the factory Delco AM/FM radio remains in place (non-operational)
for originality.
