2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170
This Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170, finished in unmistakable Plum
Crazy over a black interior, is an exceptionally rare and highly
optioned example of Dodge's most extreme factory-built muscle car,
designated Demon 170 No. 2505. Ordered with over $61,000 in factory
options, this car represents a no-compromise specification and one
of the most desirable configurations produced in the final year of
Challengers production. Factory equipment includes the SRT Demon
170 package, Plum Crazy paint, SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody, Premium
Group with Black Alcantara/Laguna leather interior, striking
Demonic Red seat belts, the TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic
transmission, 170 Satin Black hood/roof/decklid graphics, and
ultra-lightweight Carbon Fiber 2-piece wheels-a combination that
elevates both performance and collectability.
Showing just 25 original miles, this car remains essentially as
delivered from the factory and still retains the original
protective plastic on the seats, trim, and interior touchpoints,
underscoring its preserved, time-capsule condition. It presents
today exactly as it left the assembly line-untouched, unmodified,
and investment-grade in every respect.
At its core is the fortified 6.2-liter supercharged "D170" HEMI V8,
featuring upgraded internals, a larger 3.0L supercharger, high-flow
fuel system, and flex-fuel capability. When running on E85, output
soars to an astonishing 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque,
making it the most powerful production muscle car Dodge has ever
built. Power is channeled through the heavy-duty TorqueFlite 8HP90
8-speed automatic transmission equipped with TransBrake 2.0, torque
reserve, and launch assist for repeatable, drag-strip-caliber
launches. Out back, a strengthened 240mm rear differential with a
3.09 gear ratio is engineered specifically to withstand the immense
torque loads generated under full acceleration.
The suspension system is purpose-built for maximum weight transfer
and traction, utilizing adaptive Bilstein dampers, Demon-specific
spring and sway bar calibrations, revised rear geometry, and a
raised rear ride height to optimize launch performance. Stopping
power is handled by high-performance Brembo brakes, delivering
confident and controlled deceleration. This example rides on
lightweight carbon-fiber wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson ET
Street drag radials, a factory drag-focused setup that reduces
rotational mass while maximizing straight-line grip.
The interior is well appointed for comfort and performance with
heated and ventilated front seats upholstered in black Alcantara
and Laguna leather, and carbon-fiber trim accents the dashboard and
center console. Shift paddles are affixed to the rear of the
Alcantara-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, which frames a red
220-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and a 7? configurable
digital display. The optional Premium Group adds a suede headliner,
a premium-stitched dash panel, a blind-spot monitoring system, rear
cross-path detection, and an 18-speaker Harman Kardon audio system
with a trunk-mounted subwoofer. Other amenities include Demonic Red
seat belts, remote start, dual-zone climate control, and UConnect
infotainment with navigation and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
capability. Demon 170 models left the factory with a reduced amount
of sound-deadening materials compared to the standard Challenger. A
plaque below the passenger air vent identifies this Demon 170 as
#2,505.
With its extraordinary option list, iconic Plum Crazy finish,
delivery-mile condition, and fully preserved interior, this Demon
170 represents one of the most desirable and collectible modern
Mopars ever produced-a true pinnacle of American muscle, preserved
exactly as Dodge intended. Contact LRA Auto Sales at 215-781-3790
