1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 427/4-speed
This beautiful 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is a true
American classic, combining iconic mid-year styling with timeless
performance. Finished in Tuxedo Black (900) and its period-correct
lines featuring the signature flip-up headlights, this Corvette
offers the perfect blend of originality and open-top driving
excitement. Under the hood, you'll find the legendary Chevrolet
427/425hp engine paired with a smooth-shifting Muncie 4-speed
manual close ratio transmission, delivering the power and sound
these mid-year Corvettes are known for. A dealer replacement 427ci
V8 unit installed in the late-1960s. The replacement 427ci V8
displays a "CE" prefix on the stamping pad as well as block casting
number 3963512. Engine is topped with an aluminum intake manifold
and a Holley four-barrel carburetor. Additional features include a
black convertible top, flip-up headlights, chrome bumpers, a
driver-side mirror, and a retractable antenna.
Its classic 15? Turbine-style aluminum wheels feature knock-off
spinners and are mounted with 215/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent
suspension, and this example features power-assisted disc
brakes.
The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in black leather
(402) as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. The
three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm
tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil
pressure, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 61k
