In 1956, a comprehensive redesign of the entire Oldsmobile lineup
took place, including the flagship Ninety-Eight series which
offered three distinct body styles. The convertible models were
branded as the "Starfire" a nod to the previous year's Starfire
Dream Car. The 1956 model was updated to be visually more similar
to the concept car, incorporating a large deep grille with minimal
exterior trim and bumper elements. A Jet-Inspired grille created
two deeply concave pods. This Magnificent and Quite Rare Starfire
