The 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS is an early Rally Sport example
combining factory styling distinction with upgraded drivability.
Finished in original Emerald Turquoise Poly Metallic (code K-2)
with a black vinyl top and powered by a 327 V8 engine paired to an
upgraded Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. This Camaro presents
as a well-maintained driver with desirable RS features. The Camaro
is ideally suited for weekend cruising, local and regional shows,
and confident road use. Built in December 1967 at the Van Nuys,
California plant as a custom interior sport coupe, the Camaro
carries Fisher Body number 12383 and reflects long-term
western-state residence with no evident rust concerns. The current
owner acquired the Camaro in 2017 for reliable enjoyment on Arizona
roads. The odometer shows 11,201 believed to be since engine was
installed, and the Camaro offers the expected character of a
first-generation RS with mechanical enhancements. The exterior is
finished in Emerald Turquoise Poly Metallic with rich luster and a
few small rock chips in expected areas, featuring dual black
pinstriping and a black nose stripe. The sport coupe look is
complemented by a black vinyl roof in excellent condition. The
Rally Sport front end features the signature hidden electric
headlamps and RS grille, while Camaro 327 badging remains correct
and well preserved. Chrome bumpers, sport mirrors, horizontal
taillamps with bright chrome bezels, and signature below-bumper
backup lights present in great condition. Front and rear spoilers
add period sport character, and newer 5-spoke mag-style wheels with
serviceable Big-O tires complete the presentation. The interior
retains the original Emerald Turquoise interior color with custom
bucket seats in front and a molded rear bench, all in very good
condition. Coordinated turquoise door panels and center console
maintain visual continuity, while the turquoise carpet shows some
expected wear at the drivers footwell. A turquoise and silver
three-spoke steering wheel frames the 120-mph speedometer and fuel
gauge. Factory heater and fan ventilation with rear defrost operate
well, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo with Bluetooth and USB
enhances usability without altering the classic appearance.
Mechanical power comes from the replacement crate 327 V8 engine
fitted with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake
manifold, paired to a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission and dual
exhaust. The Camaro has upgraded four-wheel power disc brakes and
power steering, providing confident control and modernized stopping
capability. The current owner completed a pro-built rear end with
new axles, bearings and seals with new 3.43 gears and an Eaton posi
unit along with custom-made traction bars. These
performance-oriented, reliability focused upgrades improve traction
and durability for confident road handling. A recent safety
inspection was completed and the Camaro comes with a clean Arizona
title. For more information and details, please call or text Kendi
