This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro, VIN 1S87H3N116646, is a full-scale
restomod designed to command attention. Originally an LT model out
of the Norwood plant, it has been transformed with a Split Bumper
conversion and a high-impact, custom airbrushed aesthetic. Under
the hood, the original 350 has been swapped for a 400ci Small Block
V8 that pulls like a monster. With modern tech upgrades like
CarPlay and digital gauges paired with old-school muscle, this
Camaro offers a unique, high-energy driving experience that turns
heads on every corner.
Exterior
The body is straight and solid, featuring a Custom Moonroof and a
one-of-a-kind airbrush paint job by Airbrush Assassinz in Illinois,
which has been fully cleared over for a smooth finish. While the
paint shows some light blemishes and there are a few blisters in
the usual spots, the overall presentation is incredibly sharp. It
rolls on classic American Racing aluminum wheels with brand new
Hankook tires on the rear; we are also including two new front
tires that just need to be mounted. The modern LED headlights not
only look great but provide excellent night-time visibility.
Interior
Inside, the cabin is a mix of classic muscle and modern
convenience. It features a Hurst Dual Gate shifter (functioning
perfectly) and a fresh set of Digital Gauges that are all in proper
working order. For entertainment, a new Digital head unit with
CarPlay has been installed. The interior is a great place to be,
though we note the horn is currently inop and the wipers are a
little "sticky" and could use some clearancing against the hood.
Overall, the interior matches the car's bold, custom
personality.
Underhood & Underbody
The heart of this beast is a 400 ci Small Block V8 equipped with
custom headers and exhaust that give it a formidable sound and
serious power. The drivetrain is rounded out by a smooth-shifting
TH350 transmission and a 10-bolt Posi-traction rear end. Braking is
handled by 4-wheel power disc brakes that provide confident,
straight stopping power with a great pedal feel. Both the body and
frame are nice and solid, providing the sturdy foundation you want
for a high-horsepower build.
Driving
This Camaro is a blast to drive. It makes excellent power and
tracks nice and straight, free from annoying road noises. The
suspension feels nice and tight, giving the car a planted feel
whether you're cruising or hitting the throttle. The Hurst Dual
Gate shifter adds a great mechanical feel to the experience. It
starts, shifts, and pulls exactly like a well-sorted restomod
should.
Conclusion
If you are looking for a "cookie-cutter" Camaro, this isn't it.
This is a custom-built, 400 SBC-powered restomod with a
clear-coated airbrush finish that stands out in any crowd. With the
split-bumper look, disc brakes, and modern digital interior, the
heavy lifting is done. It's a solid, powerful, and incredibly fun
driver that is ready for the street. Please note: We only have what
is seen in the photos and video; we encourage you to review the
custom paintwork and interior features in detail.
